We are open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) from Labour Weekend (late October) to Easter Weekend (April) from 11.00am to 5.00pm

• Winter Hours

We are open every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 11.00am to 4.30pm over the winter period from Easter to Labour Weekend.

Te Whau Vineyard Restaurant

Our vineyard restaurant is located on the top level of our winery and features fresh New Zealand/Pacific Rim cuisine (click here for our current Menu) and the finest wine list in New Zealand (click here to view our Cellar List). The restaurant, which seats sixty, has spectacular views of Waiheke Island, Rangitoto and the Auckland Isthmus and includes a wine bar/tasting room facility. We also feature contemporary New Zealand art to complement the stunning contemporary architecture of the building.

Te Whau Vineyard Cafe was recently honoured with an Award of Excellence from the prestigious New York-based "Wine Spectator" magazine as "One of the Best Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers". This award is made based on the strength and depth of our wine list, which features the very best of New Zealand wines, with an emphasis on mature vintages of, particularly, unobtainable Waiheke Island wines.

The restaurant is available for private functions, corporate meetings and celebration dinners, but we regret we do not cater for weddings.

During the winter months we feature a series of degustation dinners featuring wine-and-food matching with some of the finest wines in the world. Details of the Winter 2003 Degustation Dinner Series will feature in our Spring 2002 newsletter and on this website (coming soon).
